Triple-Action Pigment Corrector
Demelan Cream
A powerful synergy of Glycolic Acid, Alpha-Arbutin, and Kojic Acid. Designed to fade dark spots, melasma, and post-acne marks for a brighter, even complexion.
How It Works
Glycolic Acid
The Exfoliator. A potent AHA that dissolves the bonds holding dead skin cells together. This speeds up cell turnover, shedding pigmented surface cells to reveal fresh skin underneath.
Alpha-Arbutin
The Brightener. A safe and effective skin-lightening agent that inhibits the enzymes responsible for pigment production, helping to fade stubborn discoloration.
Kojic Acid
The Blocker. Acts as a tyrosinase inhibitor. It blocks the specific enzyme your body needs to produce melanin, preventing new dark spots from forming.
Targeted Treatments
Melasma
Fades the “mask of pregnancy” and hormonal dark patches.
Post-Acne Marks (PIH)
Reduces the dark spots left behind after pimples heal.
Sun Spots
Treats hyperpigmentation caused by UV damage.
Uneven Tone
Restores overall radiance and uniform skin color.
High Sun Sensitivity
The active ingredients (especially Glycolic Acid) make your skin extremely sensitive to sunlight. Dark spots will return instantly if exposed to UV rays.
- You must use SPF 30+ daily, even on cloudy days.
- Wear a hat and limit sun exposure while using this product.
Application Precautions
- Do not apply to broken, cut, or actively inflamed skin (e.g., active eczema).
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Avoid the sensitive skin around eyes, nose corners, and mouth.
Application Protocol
Cleanse
Wash your face with a mild, gentle cleanser. Pat your skin completely dry.
Spot Treat Only
Unlike other creams, apply a thin layer only to the affected dark patches. Gently rub it in until absorbed. Apply once daily in the evening.
Discontinue
Use as prescribed. You can typically stop using the cream on a specific area once the dark spot has faded to match your surrounding skin tone.
Common Side Effects
Mild side effects are common when first starting as your skin adjusts to the active ingredients.
Mild stinging or burning
Redness
Dryness or peeling
Itching
If side effects are severe or persistent, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
