The Gentle Introduction
Tretiheal Cream 0.025%
A mild yet effective concentration of Tretinoin in a moisturizing cream base. The preferred choice for first-time retinoid users and sensitive skin.
Texture & Anti-Aging
Smooths rough facial texture and stimulates collagen to reduce fine wrinkles and sun damage spots.
Comedonal Acne
Highly effective at clearing non-inflamed acne like blackheads and whiteheads by keeping pores clear of debris.
Oil Regulation
Helps normalize sebum production in the skin, reducing the oily shine that contributes to breakouts.
CRITICAL: Pregnancy Warning
DO NOT USE this medicine if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Tretinoin is teratogenic (can cause severe birth defects).
Sun & Skin Safety
- Sun Protection: You must use SPF 30+ daily. Reapply as needed. Avoid tanning beds.
- No Waxing: Do not wax treated areas (face/brows). The skin is fragile and will tear.
- The Purge: Acne may temporarily worsen in the first few weeks. This is normal; do not stop treatment.
Application Routine
Cleanse & Wait
Wash with a mild cleanser. Gently pat dry. Wait 20-30 minutes until skin is completely dry. Applying to damp skin increases irritation.
The Pea-Sized Rule
Squeeze a small amount (size of a pea) onto your fingertip. This is enough for the whole face. Using more will not work faster, but it will increase side effects.
Dot & Spread
Dot the cream on forehead, cheeks, and chin. Gently spread a thin layer. Avoid sensitive areas like eyes, corners of the mouth, and nose creases.
💡 New User Tip: “Buffering”
If you find your skin getting too dry, apply a light moisturizer before your Tretinoin. This creates a buffer that reduces irritation without stopping the medication from working.
What to Expect
“Retinization” takes about 2-4 weeks. During this time, you may experience:
- ✓ Dryness and flaking
- ✓ Mild redness
- ✓ Warming sensation
- ✓ Sensitivity to wind/cold
Frequently Asked Questions
How long until I see results?
+
Acne: Usually 8-12 weeks for full clearing.
Anti-Aging: Fine lines take longer, typically 6 months or more of consistent use. Patience is key.
Will this help acne scars?
+
It is excellent for fading dark/red spots (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation) left behind by old pimples. However, it is generally less effective for deep, indented (atrophic) scars.
Can I use other skincare products?
+
Yes, but avoid harsh ingredients like Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, or physical scrubs while using Tretinoin. Stick to gentle, hydrating cleansers and moisturizers.
